Representing the final release within the Heritage Precinct, Glass House is a new interpretation of an iconic landmark, brought to life by a new vision for modern living.
Glass House captures the industrial spirit of the 1954 boiler house, by adding architectural detail and layers of greenery to its new interpretation. Paying homage to the original building’s size, scale and relationship to the neighbouring Boiler House, Glass House has been designed to echo its iconic character.
The new five-storey Glass House will offer a collection of minimalist and modern apartments, a new icon in its own right. Paying tribute to the site’s industrial past, the interior design references robust materials, bold tones and forms, translated into a modern, timeless aesthetic. Whilst up above, a large communal roof terrace will offer residents outdoor dining facilities and a great venue to entertain family and friends, offering spectacular panoramas of the Yarra River and the city skyline.
Once completed, the only thing lighting up behind Glass House’s utilitarian glazed facade, will be the warm glow of home and lives unfolding within.
